I originally joined aKDPhi to find sisterhood amongst other asian women on campus, and form friendships. I wanted to surround myself with women who shared similar experiences and upbringings as me; a group who will push one another to become better versions of themselves. After joining, I realized that in addition to sisterhood, I also found myself with a group of women who will help me grow professionally, academically and encourage me to take on leadership roles.
