I wanted to join alpha Kappa Delta Phi because growing up and even during my first year of college, I didn’t have many Asian friends, and I felt like a piece of identity was missing. I longed for a sense of belonging and sisterhood with people who understood my culture and experiences. As a first generation college student, I am so excited to join a supportive sisterhood that empowers women like me.
