ABOUT ME
I’m a first-gen Filipina American student from South Florida. I am a total nerd–I love the sciences, arts, everything. My favorite place is the beach, and I don't think there’s anything more calming than listening to the waves and watching the sunrise/set. I can seem really shy at first, but I do love spending quality time with people. I love manta rays and burrowing owls, metal and techno music, and fantasy and sci-fi. I want to travel the world and experience different cultures through food and nature.
FUTURE Aspirations
Get a PhD in Neuroscience & research the molecular biology that causes psychiatric disorders so we can develop more precise medication and diagnostic/therapeutic techniques. Travel the world and participate in habitat restoration and rehabilitation efforts.

Growing up as one of a handful Asian kids in school left me feeling isolated from my culture and community. When I came to college, I wanted to find a place where I could truly connect with my roots and feel understood in ways I couldn’t back home. Finding aKDPhi filled every checkbox–lifetime sisterhood, a supportive community, and endless memories. I have so much Phire for my sisters, my role models whom I can rely on, who make me feel seen and have given me my home away from home. <3
