Having a close community of Asian-American women around me is very important since it gives me a safe space of being able to express myself. It also allows us to share our similar struggles and experiences with each other which helps me strengthen my identity as an Asian-American woman. I also wanted to enhance my leadership and networking skills, and I really love how aKDPhi has created many lasting friendships and a strong sisterhood with girls all over the country.
