Thank you to the Beta Zeta chapter of Omega Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. for the opportunity to host and educate others on domestic violence in Latino and Asian cultures. Additionally, thank you to everyone who showed up to listen and participate in this much needed discussion.

Hazing prevention workshop

September 25th, 2020

Thank you to our VPE #118 Gabi Park for hosting this amazing Hazing Prevention Workshop. This was an important discussion to have to end National Hazing Prevention Week as we ensure we advocate for the safety of others by keeping ourselves educated on topics like these.

 

AFLV Central 2020

January 30th - February 2nd, 2020

Our sister, #119 Sally Zhu, had the privilege of attending AFLV Central on behalf of FSU’s Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life. AFLV Central is a conference providing a unique experience in that members of all social Greek organizations are invited to attend as a way to build relations across multiple councils. While there, she attended educational sessions centered on everything from issues faced by multicultural Greeks organizations to tips on dealing with burnout. She was also able to meet up with fellow aKDPhi sisters from various schools.

 

Mid-year conference spring 2020

January 18th, 2020

This past weekend, our chapter president, #112 Emily Bui and our Vice President-Internal, #116 Annie Le, traveled to Orlando, FL for the National Mid-Year Conference. This is a leadership and programming conference held at the beginning of every spring semester and attended by every chapter President and Vice President from every university. This is a great networking and sisterhood opportunity, fostering an educational environment for all of our chapter leaders to come together and strategize for the upcoming semester.

 

Greek leadership summit spring 2020

January 11th - 12th 2020

At the Greek Leadership Summit over the weekend, President #112 Emily Bui traveled to Panama City Beach, along with the other Presidents in FSU Greek Life. While on the retreat, our leaders participated in interactive workshops and team bonding activities to start off the semester strong. We really value Greek unity, and this summit was a great way to foster these relationships, as well as further hone leadership skills as President.

The club is based on allowing students to learn, express, and promote Chinese culture as a way to encourage discourse between Chinese and American cultures.

VSA works towards creating and stimulating awareness of the transforming Vietnamese-American cultural identity through educating and empowering their community.
